Spinch Rules and Regulations in Ireland
These Terms govern your use of the official website and mobile application in Ireland. They apply to all betting services, bets, bonuses, your account, and any related features. By accessing, registering, or continuing to use our services, you agree to these legal terms and the policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not open an account or place a bet. Updates take effect once published on this page.
General Terms
These Terms form a contract between you and Spinch. You should read them in full before registration or any use of the services.
1. Eligibility and registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to participate in betting in Ireland.
- You confirm you are not self-excluded and not barred under any regulatory restriction.
- Registration must be completed in your own name using accurate, current information. Duplicate, shared, or proxy accounts are not allowed.
- We may conduct age, identity, residence, and payment method checks before enabling deposits, bets, withdrawals, bonuses, or continued use.
2. Your account
- Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account unless we fail to provide reasonable security.
- Only one account per person. We may merge or close duplicates and void related bets.
- We may suspend, restrict, or close an account for legal, regulatory, security, AML, or responsible gambling reasons.
3. Proper use of services
- Use the site for lawful betting only. Prohibited conduct includes: using bots or scraping tools, collusion, match fixing, market manipulation, arbitrage based on insider or illicit data, chargeback abuse, or interference with the site.
- Do not attempt to bypass geographic, device, or identity controls. Use of a VPN or similar tools to misrepresent your location is not allowed.
4. Content and intellectual property
- All site content, software, data, markets, odds, graphics, and trademarks are protected. You may use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- You may not copy, redistribute, or exploit site content or odds data without written permission.
5. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms or related rules to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Where required, we will provide notice by email or on-site.
- Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the services and request account closure.
6. Liability
- We provide services using reasonable skill and care but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.
- We are not liable for losses arising from internet failures, device issues, third-party networks, suspension of an event, or obvious errors in data provided by external sources, unless required by law.
- Nothing limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited under Irish law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
- Complaints: contact Customer Support through the Help Centre. We aim to resolve within a reasonable timeframe. If unresolved, you may request escalation to an independent ADR, where available for our services.
General Betting Rules
These general rules apply to all betting markets unless a specific market rule states otherwise.
1. Who may place a bet
- Only verified customers aged 18 or over who have an open account in their own name may place a bet.
- You must be located in a place where betting is allowed at the time of the bet. Location checks may apply.
2. Bet acceptance and odds
- A bet is accepted when it appears in your betting history with a unique reference number. Pending or processing status is not acceptance.
- Odds and markets can change before acceptance. We may refuse any bet or part of a bet at our discretion and for legal or regulatory reasons.
- For in-play betting, delays may apply. Bets placed after an event has reached a material point may be void.
3. Stakes, limits, and payouts
- Minimum and maximum stakes, as well as maximum payouts, vary by market and are displayed on the betslip. Limits may also apply to related selections or specific competitions.
- We may restrict stakes, markets, or payout levels on an account or event basis for risk, integrity, or compliance reasons.
4. Settlement of bets
- Bets are settled on the official result declared by the relevant governing body at the time of settlement. Later changes due to appeals may not affect settlement unless we announce otherwise.
- If a selection is a non-runner or an event is void, the bet is usually settled at the reduced odds or returned in line with the market rules.
- Dead-heat rules, postponements, and abandoned events are settled per the specific rules for that market or event.
5. Cancellations and palpable error
- If an event is cancelled or abandoned and no official result is declared within the timeframe stated in market rules, affected bets may be voided.
- In cases of palpable error, including obvious pricing or settlement errors, we may correct the error or void affected bets. We act reasonably and keep records of decisions.
6. Cash out and edits
- Cash out or edit functionality is not guaranteed and may be withdrawn on any bet, market, or event. If a cash out offer is accepted, settlement of that portion is final.
7. Promotions and free bets
- Free bets, bonus funds, and related offers are subject to specific terms, including eligibility, expiry, market restrictions, and wagering. Stake, unless stated otherwise, is not returned on settlement of a free bet.
Payment Rules
These rules cover deposits, withdrawals, and payment security for customers in Ireland.
1. Funding your account
- Accepted methods include debit cards, bank transfer, and approved e-wallets shown in the cashier. Available methods may vary by your verification status.
- The account currency is EUR unless your account area shows otherwise. Any conversion costs are your responsibility.
- Use only payment instruments held in your name. We may reject third-party payments.
2. Deposits
- Deposits are credited once authorised by your provider. Processing times depend on the method and provider.
- We do not charge deposit fees. Your bank or wallet may apply charges.
- We may place temporary limits until verification checks are complete.
3. Withdrawals
- Withdrawals are, where possible, returned to the source of deposit. We may split withdrawals across methods to meet legal and card scheme requirements.
- Processing begins after required KYC and AML checks. Timeframes vary by method and will be shown before you confirm the request.
- You may cancel a pending withdrawal if the option is shown in your account. Once processed, cancellation is not possible.
4. Verification and security checks
- Before releasing funds, we may request identity, address, and payment method ownership documents, and where appropriate, source of funds or source of wealth information.
- If requested documents are not provided or are unsatisfactory, we may reverse transactions, freeze funds, or close the account in line with legal obligations.
5. Restrictions, fees, and reversals
- Transaction limits, daily or monthly caps, and method-specific restrictions apply and are displayed in the cashier.
- We may deduct reasonable costs arising from chargebacks or bank recalls.
- Withdrawals of balances linked to active wagering, bonus rules, or unresolved disputes may be delayed until conditions are met.
6. Inactive and closed accounts
- If your account is inactive for a prolonged period, we will contact you about options. Any lawful fee or balance handling will be notified in advance and comply with Irish requirements.
Responsible Gambling
We support safer betting and provide tools to help you control how you use the services.
1. Player protection tools
- Deposit, loss, and stake limits configurable by day, week, or month.
- Reality checks and session time reminders.
- Time out options for short breaks.
- Self-exclusion for longer periods. During exclusion you must not attempt registration or to bet. We take reasonable steps to enforce this.
- Access to your account history so you can review spend, bets, and bonuses.
2. Guidance and help
- Set limits during registration and adjust them only after the cooling-off period that appears on-screen.
- Do not chase losses. Consider pausing betting if it impacts finances or wellbeing.

Anti-Money Laundering
We maintain controls designed to meet Irish anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws and associated guidance.
1. Legal obligations
- We apply a risk-based framework aligned to Irish legislation and relevant EU standards. Records are retained as required by law.
2. Know Your Customer checks
- Before certain activity, we may verify identity, address, and ownership of payment methods. Enhanced checks may apply for higher risk cases or politically exposed persons.
- We may request evidence of source of funds or wealth where activity triggers thresholds or risk flags.
3. Monitoring and reports
- Transactions and betting patterns may be monitored using automated and manual reviews to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
- Where required, we may file reports with the relevant authorities and cannot inform you if a report is made.
4. Consequences of non-compliance
- We may delay, freeze, or block transactions, restrict services, close the account, or forfeit funds where permitted by law. Failure to provide requested information may result in suspension.
